An established investment management firm based in the west end is looking for an Institutional Client/Sales Manager to join their Institutional team. This is an excellent opportunity for a client or sales associate that is looking to take the next step in their career. Reporting into the Head of Institutional, you will receive training to gradually evolve into a client-facing sales role.

Immediate responsibilities will include:

  • Developing professional relationships with clients and consultants.
  • Act as the point of contact for client queries – understand individual client needs and be able to tailor a response.
  • Ability to undertake research on target markets, identifying potential prospects and suitable strategies.
  • Attend meetings with existing and target clients.
  • Facilitate and prepare materials for meetings.
  • Ensure RFPs are co-ordinated internally and have input into final messaging.

Our client is looking for a candidate with the following attributes:

  • 4+ years’ experience in an institutional client or sales associate role.
  • A dedicated, energetic, and confident attitude.
  • Desire to learn and progress into a Sales Manager position.
  • Ability to build excellent relationships with senior client stakeholders.
  • Investment management industry experience is essential.
  • Industry qualifications such as the CFA (or studying towards) would be beneficial.
