Duration: 3 months

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 AM - 5 PM

Start Date: ASAP

Rate of Pay: £30-34 per hour

What You'll Be Doing:

Join our team as a Band 6 RMN in the Youth Justice System and make a meaningful impact on the lives of young people involved in the criminal justice system. In this role, you will:

  • Provide specialist mental health assessments and interventions for young people in the youth justice system.
  • Work closely with multi-agency teams, including social workers, probation officers, and education providers, to deliver holistic care.
  • Develop and implement individual care plans that address mental health needs and risk factors.
  • Offer crisis intervention, risk assessment, and therapeutic support to young people with complex mental health conditions.
  • Deliver training and consultation to professionals within the youth justice system to enhance mental health awareness and support strategies.
  • Advocate for young people, ensuring they receive the right care and support within both health and justice services.

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • A current and valid registration with the Nursing & Midwifery Council (NMC).
  • Proven experience working as an RMN, preferably within a youth justice or forensic setting.
  • Strong knowledge of risk assessment, crisis intervention, and trauma-informed care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • A valid full UK driver's license (preferred but not essential).

Working Hours & Contract Duration:

This role offers a flexible working position, Monday to Friday, 9 AM - 5 PM. The contract is for 3 months, with a strong possibility of extension based on performance and service needs. This opportunity won't last long!
