Our client a leading Investment Management firm is looking to hire a Credit Analyst to join their European Credit Research team.
The successful candidate will generate investment ideas for Buy & Maintain strategies. The role will cover credit issuers in Sterling and private placement, forming a medium term view on each.
Key responsibilities:
- Work closely alongside Buy & Maintain Portfolio Managers, generating investment ideas through fundamental research and relative value analysis
- Analyse and understand legal structure of securities, and financial/business risk of the company
- Active participation in investment discussions and contribute towards credit research team’s outlook
- Attend external events such as consultant meetings, new business pitches and client meetings
Candidate Profile:
- Minimum 4 years’ fundamental credit analysis experience
- Strong academic background; with a first or upper-second class degree
- CFA or other relevant professional qualification
