A leading Asset Management firm is looking to add an investment professional to the Fixed Income desk.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generate alpha trade idea generation within Fixed Income and present ideas to Portfolio Managers.
- Conduct detailed analysis on a range of global and emerging market macro-economic issues.
- Research, develop, and maintain fixed income market models.
- Develop and maintain portfolio management tools in Python and SQL.
- Participate in creating new datasets on market flows and positioning, creating initial visualisation of this data for Portfolio Managers.
Candidate Profile:
- Around 2-5 years’ relevant fixed income investment experience at a reputable buy-side or sell-side organisation.
- Passion for investments and financial markets.
- Programming skills and experience (Python, R, or Matlab) would be preferable.
- Degree educated in Maths, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, Economics, or a similar subject.
- Strong communication skills and a “can do” attitude.
