One of the UK’s leading independent schools is seeking an enthusiastic Fundraising Executive to join their Development Office on a 6 Month FTC. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact on our regular giving programme, working with a vibrant and engaged community of alumni, parents and supporters.
As Fundraising Executive, you’ll take the lead in delivering creative, targeted appeals that inspire support and grow donor participation. You’ll work across the schools, reaching prospective supporters through email, social media, direct mail, and in-person events.

Develop compelling messaging and oversee segmentation for targeted outreach. Monitor campaign performance and donor participation, using data insights to identify areas for growth. Serve as a key point of contact for current and prospective donors, ensuring timely and thoughtful communication. Work closely with the Database and Operations Manager to ensure data integrity and effective segmentation.
- Fundraising Programme & Campaign Support: Collaborate with the Director of Development to ensure appeals align with wider fundraising goals, particularly pipeline development and identification of major gift prospects. Manage a small portfolio of leadership donors (up to £50,000), conducting face-to-face meetings and bespoke stewardship to increase engagement. Assist in planning and delivering donor cultivation and recognition events. Support the involvement of staff and volunteers in fundraising and engagement initiatives. Work with the Alumni Relations and Engagement Manager to ensure a joined-up approach between alumni engagement and giving.
- General Responsibilities: Uphold confidentiality and compliance with GDPR and fundraising legislation. Maintain awareness of philanthropic giving regulations in the UK and overseas, including tax-efficient giving. Work flexibly, including occasional evenings and weekends for events (TOIL will be provided).
