An exciting opportunity to be part of a small growing Fixed Income team at a Global Asset Management firm. The main purpose of this role is to assist in the management of an emerging market fixed income hard currency bond portfolio.
Key Tasks:
- Assist the lead Portfolio Manager in the implementation of the investment strategy and adapt those decisions according to client objectives and constraints.
- Build models to generate trade ideas and contribute to the portfolio construction process.
- Liaise with the Quant Research team on research ideas and implementation of a quantitatively based benchmark replication model.
- Involved in ad-hoc projects to support the build-out of quantitative research underpinning country and securities valuations.
Experience Required:
- Minimum 4 years in Fixed Income analysis or portfolio management.
- Prior experience working in Emerging Markets.
- Knowledge of optimisation algorithms.
- Excellent analytical skills; coding ability in VBA and Python would be beneficial.
- Strong academic profile; Economics, Finance or quantitative related degree.
