A prestigious and well-respected Institutional Asset Management firm is seeking to hire a Portfolio Analyst to join the Portfolio Implementation team. The portfolio implementation team sits in the front office and is the link between the Portfolio Managers and Traders. The purpose of the role is to support the Portfolio Managers in the day-to-day management of equity portfolios.
Key responsibilities:
- Providing active support to portfolio managers including implementation of investment decisions across strategies in a timely manner
- Modelling investment views across a range of portfolios
- Managing trade orders, ensuring efficient execution
- Oversight of cash flows, and managing rebalancing of portfolios in a timely and effective manner
- Liaising with Investment Operations, Product, Research and Compliance teams on issues relating to market openings, product integrity and transitions
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- 1-3 years’ experience in a similar role or investment operations function on the buy-side
- Solid understanding of equities and derivatives
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent attention to detail
