Team Description: The Modeling & Applications team is responsible for delivering the foundational capabilities to support application development at Anaplan. As part of this group, the Application Framework team focuses on building a scalable and reusable platform for creating powerful, consistent, and upgradable applications. This role reports to the Senior Director of Product Management and plays a key role in aligning strategy and execution for internal development and partner extensibility.
Your Impact:
- Define and evolve the core product direction for the Platform Application Framework to support centralized and scalable application development.
- Drive the product roadmap in partnership with engineering, ensuring delivery of high-impact capabilities that enable both internal and external developers.
- Develop product specifications, standards, and design principles for consistent application architecture across the Anaplan ecosystem.
- Contribute to platform maturity by identifying opportunities to streamline application onboarding, configuration, and lifecycle management.
- Ensure the platform can support the long-term development of 20+ reusable applications.
- Engage with stakeholders to understand developer needs, translate them into platform features, and manage prioritization.
- Support cross-functional alignment across engineering, product, and strategy teams.
- Play a key role in launching the application framework to both internal teams and external partners.
Your Qualifications:
- Experience as a Product Manager in a B2B SaaS or enterprise software environment.
- Strong knowledge of platform and framework product design.
- Ability to define and manage complex product roadmaps and technical requirements.
- Experience collaborating closely with engineering teams in an Agile environment.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to translate vision into execution.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with modeling platforms like Anaplan.
- Understanding of reusable architecture and application scalability.
- Experience working on externally extensible platforms or partner ecosystems.
