About the Role
Are you a highly skilled and experienced Senior Medical Editor looking for a challenging and rewarding opportunity? We are seeking a dedicated and meticulous individual to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This role is crucial in ensuring the continued delivery of consistent, high-quality, and error-free work across several of our key accounts. You will be responsible for providing expert medical editing services, maintaining the high standards our clients expect. Join us in the iconic Sea Containers office Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and every third Friday to connect with your team, stay up-to-date on agency developments, participate in brainstorming sessions, and enjoy the various social activities that we have going on.
What You’ll Do
- Provide expert medical editing services across a range of projects, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and adherence to relevant guidelines and regulations.
- Work closely with medical writers, account managers, and other team members to deliver high-quality deliverables on time and within budget.
- Maintain a strong understanding of therapeutic areas and relevant scientific literature.
- Ensure all materials are compliant with industry standards and client requirements.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of editorial processes and standards.
What You’ll Need
- Significant experience as a Medical Editor within a medical communications agency.
- Excellent knowledge of medical terminology, grammar, and style.
- Proven ability to edit complex scientific documents with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong understanding of regulatory guidelines and industry best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience working on a variety of therapeutic areas is desirable.
- A life science degree or equivalent qualification is preferred.
