We are looking for a talented person to join our People Team here at Butlin’s Bognor Regis! Reporting to the Recruitment & Admin Manager, you will work directly with our recruitment and people support team in a busy office environment and support the wider People Team when needed. You will provide daily administration support to the HR function to deliver the highest standards of people support and service, ensuring an exceptional experience for every team member you meet. You will provide guidance and support to all Leaders across the resort in line with company policies.
Administration - You will support the management of the resort team's personnel files processing, checking, and filing paperwork whilst escalating problems to the People Advisors. You will be responsible for the end-to-end management of our on-resort reward schemes, ensuring accurate records are kept and organising Team Awards & Events. You will support the online DBS process, data trackers, key metric and weekly HR dashboard reporting as well as processing all data relating to leavers, highlighting any focus areas to improve retention and general office administration.
Resourcing – Multiskilling to support the Recruitment Team as and when required including cover for annual leave as directed by the Recruitment Manager. Support to include application reviews, telephone screening interviews, supporting face-to-face interviews, assisting with facilitation of recruitment open days and training sessions, booking and scheduling interviews with leaders and candidates, referencing and completing pre-employment paperwork and checks.
This is an on-resort role covering 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday 9am-5.30pm (including bank holidays). This is a fixed term role for twelve months.
About You - You should be adaptable, computer literate, have the ability to be organised and prioritise your workload effectively and have an interest in keeping up to date with HR related matters. You will be working with a wide range of leaders and teams across the resort so you should have excellent communication skills with the confidence to challenge where necessary. Working with external and internal candidates, providing a high level of service, empathy, and advocating to positively promote our Butlin's brand in all you do. Being a great team player is essential and you should also enjoy the buzz of a busy environment. No day will ever be the same, so you should be happy to try new things and chat to lots of different people.
