Location : Sassy+ HQ, ELSTREE (5 days a week) Position : Full-Time Salary Range : £27,000 Starting : Immediately ROLE SUMMARY: Sassy+ is looking for a Production Assistant to join our growing team. You will have the opportunity to work across a wide range of work from live action through to branded content, editorial & corporate films, graphics and animation – working within an existing dynamic and creative team, based at Sassy+ Elstree. This is a great opportunity for an individual looking to expand their experience in the field, with a career trajectory into producing. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES: Supporting (Senior/Assistant) Producers, (Junior) Production Coordinator and (Senior) Production Manager on a wide range of production projects throughout the pre-production, production and post-production process for shoots in the UK and International. Arranging transport for crew, kit, clients and staff with taxis, trains, car & van hire, hotels, couriers, planes etc, where required. Assisting with both research and helping run casting sessions/organise selfie sessions. Sourcing, purchasing and (where required) returning of props and costumes. Arranging catering and refreshments whilst on set. Support the (Junior) Production Coordinator and (Senior) Production Manager with a proactive approach to job budgeting and margin management, helping to ensure issues around scope creep are flagged to relevant team members. Keep track of spend on jobs keeping (Senior/Assistant) Producers, (Junior) Production Coordinator and (Senior) Production Manager up to date with any overages. Work with (Senior/Assistant) Producers, (Junior) Production Coordinator and (Senior) Production Manager to create detailed callsheets, risk assessments, method statements, scripts, storyboards etc across a variety of projects, as required. Support the (Junior) Production Coordinator and (Senior) Production Manager with production coordination around logistics, permits and scheduling where required. Work closely with all members of the Sassy team to deliver work of the highest standard, on time and within budget. Help develop a comprehensive database of key freelance contacts from directors, post staff, creatives, shooting crew, through to equipment & kit hire companies, including developing better relationships with suppliers and implementing savings. ESSENTIAL SKILLS: Experience in clearance and delivery for commercials, eg. using Clearcast, Caria, and Peach. Ability to work both as part of a team as well as independently, but always with passion and energy. Minimum of 1 year experience in a production environment in a similar role, working across a broad spectrum of clients and projects. Positive ‘can do’ attitude with regard to the undertaking of tasks and challenges. Strong communication, organisation, administrative and time management skills, as well as excellent attention to detail. Experience in coordinating multiple tasks simultaneously. Proven track record in supporting across various types of content production. Excellent admin, time management and organisational skills. A desire to take ownership and responsibility for Sassy project activity, delivery and the quality of work. Driving license and ability to drive to and from shoot locations (where necessary). PERFORMANCE MEASURES: Delivery of high-quality output for our projects and clients. Effective support on projects from concept to delivery, in budget and on time. Feedback on the handling of projects by senior team members at Sassy. Performance to be formally reviewed after three months and then once per year.
