We’re proud to be partnering exclusively on a retained basis to appoint a commercially astute Finance Director for a successful multi-site, privately owned business with a strong presence in its sector and plans for growth and investment. This is a pivotal board-level position, reporting directly to the Managing Director and working closely with the Group CFO.
As Finance Director, you will be responsible for the entire finance function, playing a key role in driving strategic decisions and enabling commercial success.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the finance function, ensuring robust financial control and compliance
- Partner with the MD and senior leadership to drive strategic initiatives and growth
- Provide financial insight to support investment decisions, site development, and operational improvements
- Manage external relationships with banks, auditors, and other key stakeholders
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting across all sites
- Inspire and lead a high-performing finance team, fostering a collaborative and proactive culture
- A qualified accountant (CIMA, ACA, ACCA) with post-qualification experience.
- Commercially minded with a proven track record in multi-site, ideally in the leisure, hospitality, or property sectors
- Experience managing diverse revenue streams and capital investment
- Skilled in stakeholder management and business partnering
