We’re looking for an exceptional Head of Business Operations to manage marketplace health across a portfolio of countries, including Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Poland, Czechia, the UK, and Ireland, down to the hyperlocal level.
The role:
- Local Marketplace Performance : Monitor marketplace health at the national and city level; surface opportunities to improve the balance of supply and demand, and collaborate with relevant departments to drive the right actions.
- Cross-Functional Projects : Manage high-priority cross-functional projects with strategic implications for the business; take accountability for project outcomes and keep stakeholders informed of progress.
- Local Strategy : Develop, communicate, and operationalise strategies that help Too Good To Go achieve its goals at the country and/or regional level.
- Data-Driven Decision Making : Synthesise quantitative and qualitative insights into concise, actionable recommendations for leaders across the business.
- Knowledge Sharing : Support knowledge and best practice sharing among local and global stakeholders; drive adoption of team knowledge base.
- Business Planning : Support the development of operating forecasts and long-term business plans by partnering cross-functionally.
Working relationships:
- Associate Director of Strategy & Operations: Direct manager overseeing the Business Operations function globally.
- Vice President of Operations, Cluster Centre: Dotted-line manager and key stakeholder with P&L ownership for the region.
- Regional Leadership Team: Cross-functional peer group made up of leaders across Sales, Growth, and Marketing.
- Fellow Heads of Business Operations: Peers in other regions; you will work together to share cross-country insights.
- Data Analytics Business Partner: Key collaborator on analytical and more technical requests within the region.
Minimum Requirements:
- Significant work experience with demonstrated success in high-performance cultures.
- Proven track record of successfully leading complex projects, owning revenue or growth goals, and working cross-functionally.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Ownership mindset and proactive attitude.
- Ability to build deep, trust-based relationships.
- Inspiring communicator – in person and online.
- Strong data retrieval, analytics, and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated project management skills.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Proficient with Excel/Google Sheets and PowerPoint/Google Slides.
- Experience with Salesforce, Business Intelligence tools, and SQL are a strong plus.
- You are based in (or willing to relocate to) London.
