A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a suitably qualified, experienced and dynamic individual to join the school as Director of Digital Strategy and IT. The appointed candidate will be expected to define and deliver an effective IT strategy for Godolphin and Latymer School.

The post-holder will lead a team of five and will be tasked with delivering high levels of service at the user interface and ensuring functional capability. They will work closely with the Senior Leadership Team on designing and implementing the School’s IT/Digital Learning strategy with a view to supporting teaching, learning and administration.

This is a full-time position with some additional hours required to fulfil the needs of the role, including out of hours call-outs. The full-time post offers 28 days annual leave, plus Bank Holidays and two weeks at Christmas when the School is closed. All annual leave must be taken during the school holidays.

The start date will be as soon as possible on the completion of all required pre-appointment checks. Fully completed application forms should be returned by 5.00pm on the closing date. The final closing date for applications is 5.00pm on Wednesday 23 April 2025. It is anticipated that interviews will be held on Monday 28 April 2025.

The School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. Applicants will be required to undergo child protection screening appropriate to the post, including checks with past employers and the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).

The School may carry out online searches on shortlisted applicants and all applicants will be required to provide details of their online profile, including social media accounts, as part of their application. The post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. The School is therefore permitted to ask job applicants to declare all convictions and cautions on a self-declaration form in advance of attending an interview (including those which are "spent" unless they are "protected" under the DBS filtering rules) in order to assess their suitability to work with children.
