MHE Trainer and H&S Coordinator

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced MHE Trainer & Safety Coordinator based in Luton for one of our clients on a permanent basis. Our client is a well-established wholesale distributor. Summary of the MHE Trainer & Safety Coordinator role Salary: £35,000 Location: Luton Type of Contract: Permanent Hours: Monday – Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm Responsibilities of the MHE Trainer & Safety Coordinator Oversee the maintenance, availability, and user compliance with manual handling equipment. Coordinate with maintenance contractor, schedule repairs, manage equipment utilisation, and track inventory. Schedule routine maintenance and carry out inspections of MHE. Coordinate with the external contractor for repairs. Deliver and maintain all training for all staff, including managing refreshers. Carry out observational audits. Ensure equipment meets safety standards and conduct certification renewals. Requirements for a successful MHE Trainer & Safety Coordinator Experience within a similar role previously.
