We are hiring for a Digital Acquisitions Manager - MedTech to join our Life Science Sales Team in London, UK (Hybrid). This is an amazing opportunity to accelerate innovation for our customers and identify creative solutions to meet their Life Science needs. The post holder will be responsible for initiating, managing and retaining relationships with MedTech Clients in their defined European regions with a key focus on the generation of net new business.

The Digital Acquisitions Manager will have a comprehensive understanding of the Life Sciences business culture to drive and develop a productive sales strategy in their region.

About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments

  • 3-5 years of relevant sales experience (SaaS, Market intelligence…)
  • Degree (BSc.) or equivalent, in Pharmaceutical / Biotechnology related sciences, Life Sciences or Medical Sciences.
  • Knowledge of the Life Sciences/pharmaceutical industry in Europe.
  • Knowledge of software/information solutions in the MedTech/ Pharma sectors.
  • A commercial awareness and technical appreciation of the patent and scientific information industry.
  • Commercial acumen, with a proactive and creative approach to looking after the needs and concerns of customers and an understanding (or the potential to develop an understanding) of the role of customer training as an integral part of the sales process.
  • The ability to deal with a wide range of customers, from end users to Directors of multi-national corporations.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical information to both small and large groups and to handle questions in a commercially astute and sensitive manner.

It would be great if you also have:

  • Knowledge of SalesForce CRM.
  • Knowledge of software/information solutions in the MedTech sectors a plus.
  • Additional European language preferred.

What will you be doing in this role?

  • Achieve sales goals by identifying and pursuing new business and upselling opportunities.
  • Engage with potential small-scale customers through outbound phone calls and emails, webinars, and other digital sales channels to convert leads into new business.
  • Continuously build knowledge of Clarivate products and services to effectively position solutions and address the needs of prospective customers.
  • Participate in webinars and online demos, sharing insights on market trends, customer needs, and sales opportunities with the broader team.
  • Maintain outbound lead generation volumes as set by Sales Management to ensure consistent prospect engagement and productivity.
  • Identify and target new roles within potential customer organizations to expand business opportunities.
  • Achieve activity targets as given by management.
  • Utilize existing sales tools to required standards.
  • Provide accurate reporting and forecasting information via company platforms as required by management.

About the Team

You will be working as part of a team of Digital Account Managers, Digital Acquisition Managers, Renewal Account Managers and Customer Success Managers covering the European region within our Life Sciences and healthcare segment.

Hours of Work

This is a full-time permanent position based in London, UK and will require hybrid working in our Liverpool Street office (2-3 days per week in office, rest of week remote). This position requires weekday (Monday - Friday) attendance with some scheduling flexibility available around core working hours.
