Description

The successful candidate would be joining a small senior team who are building out an options trading capability within iSAM. The team is developing and enabling the systematic trading of options within the iSAM group and has the ambition to run option trading strategies across a broad range of potential asset classes including equities, FX and commodities. We are looking for a strategist to join the team to develop option trading strategies that fit within the ISAM fund portfolio. The buildout of both team and platform is at a relatively early stage, making this is an exciting moment to join and shape our future path.

Responsibilities

Analyse market trends to identify trading opportunities
Conduct alpha research and strategy development: idea generation and quantitative research and analysis
Comprehensive back-testing and performance analysis
Purely systematic typically trading with medium holding periods.
Primary focus will be equities, however our ambition is to run strategies across equities, FX and commodities.

Specific requirements

Practical experience executing systematic options trading strategies
MSc/PhD or equivalent in quantitative discipline (Computer/Data Science, Physics, Stats, Applied Math, Finance)
5+ years experience in financial markets
Programming ability in Python, R, or similar
Entrepreneurial mindset
