We are currently seeking experienced and reliable Night HGV Class 1 Shunter for WEEKEND WORK mostly, ongoing position.
Shift start times: 00:00 to 08:30 but 10h will be paid on each shift but you will work only 8h.
Working days: Every Saturday with occasional weekdays.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the safe movement of trailers within the yard.
- Ensuring trailers are positioned at the correct loading bays on time.
- Conducting safety checks on vehicles before and after use.
- Collaborating with the warehouse team to maintain an efficient workflow.
- Adhering to all health and safety regulations.
Requirements:
- Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) license held for at least 1 year.
- Previous shunting experience preferred but not essential.
- Good communication skills and ability to work nights.
- A positive and proactive attitude.
