We are looking for a hands-on Working Chargehand to lead a busy CNC Machine Shop in North Lanarkshire, working for a long-established, privately-owned engineering firm with a strong reputation for precision work and continuous investment in its people and facilities.

In this role, you will take the lead on the shop floor programming, setting, and operating CNC machines with Fanuc controls while also managing workflow, supporting a small team of machinists, and maintaining the highest standards of quality and efficiency. You will work closely with management to plan daily operations, ensure jobs are delivered on time, and help drive continuous improvement in processes and productivity.

To succeed, you will need proven CNC machining experience, strong Fanuc programming skills, and the confidence to lead by example. The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and work to tight tolerances is essential, and experience with CAD/CAM or a willingness to learn is a real bonus.

Hours: Monday - Thursday: 7:00am - 4:00pm
Friday: 7:00am - 12:00pm
