Meridian are recruiting for a Production Operative - Assembly on an ongoing temporary contract to join our clients' machine shop based in Cheltenham (GL51): £12.80 - £13.44 p/h.
Monday to Friday - day shift
Hours of Work - 6.30am - 3.15pm with an early finish on Fridays, 38.75 hours paid working week.

The company manufacture and supply a vast range of specialist products to various industries across the globe. The successful candidate will help strengthen the workforce and will be required to be highly engaged, proactive and show a keen attitude towards meeting customer requirements.
Main duties & responsibilities but not limited to:
- Assembling mechanical (metal) components according to Standard Operating Procedures documents
- Build and test of product in line with instruction sheets to required quality standard
- Testing finished products
- Packing finished products ready for dispatch along with associated duties as required
- Ensure company H&S policy is adhered to and raise safety concerns to supervision
- Assisting with 5S
Skills / Experience that's required for the role:
- Experience of Production/Assembly
- Experience of Electric/Manual Tools
- Competent in safe use of PPE and work equipment
- Able to follow work instructions
- Keen eye for detail and a conscientious attitude
