Position: Applications Engineer Trainee - Mechanical

Are you:

  • Great at problem solving and lateral thinking?
  • Passionate about technology, with strong practical and IT skills?
  • A clear communicator, able to explain your solution to colleagues and customers?

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work alongside our sales team to understand customer requirements
  • Develop technical solutions to meet those requirements
  • Become expert in our range of equipment and software
  • Run measurement solutions on customer parts and deliver reports
  • Work with sales to close the order
  • Deliver training for customers

What We’re Looking For:

  • Able with training to rapidly assimilate customer requirements
  • Engineering familiarity, including understanding mechanical engineering drawings
  • Great communication skills, able to listen and explain
  • Practical, able to demonstrate equipment and solutions
  • Team player, working alongside sales and user
  • Excellent technical skills and a full driving licence.

Education: Engineering Degree or similar with mechanical content/element, completed a mechanical apprenticeship or time-served engineer
