Archer is currently working with a dynamic and forward-thinking independent cost consultancy to recruit a Project Surveyor in its Residential team in London. The team is led by three experienced Partners, and work on an impressive range of London projects for leading clients in the sector including Grainger plc, Berkeley Homes, Legal & General, and Native Land.

The Project Surveyor will be working alongside senior members of the team and take responsibility for pre- and post-contract QS duties on a portfolio of projects. Duties will include:

  • Producing cost estimates and plans
  • Managing the tender process
  • Monitoring the status of projects
  • Attending site meetings
  • Negotiating final account settlements

The ideal candidate for this role will have a degree in Quantity Surveying or a similar construction-related discipline, and be MRICS accredited. They should have prior experience in a cost consulting environment working on projects in the residential sector. Candidates should also have excellent communication skills and be capable of establishing strong client relationships.

On offer is a salary up to £60,000 per annum plus excellent benefits including 28 days annual leave, paid RICS fees, health insurance, and bonus.
