Insight Investment are looking for a Finance Analyst to join their Financial Analysis Team in London. This is a 12 month fixed term position. This role will predominantly support the Financial Analysis team with a focus on P&L costs, Management Information and Technology Development Financials.

Role Responsibilities

  • Prepare for month end & monthly cost review, variance analysis
  • Month end transactions review
  • Support the PMG financials process working closely with Technology to ensure accuracy of monthly actuals and forecast
  • Assist with the cost tracking and reporting of the strategic initiatives for the wider business and BNY
  • Proactively develop and work with the Corporate Product Team to maintain and improve Anaplan used for Technology Development financials and P&L reporting
  • Support the Business Partners with any cost queries
  • Assist in preparation for monthly management information for senior executives
  • Support internal stakeholders on ad hoc queries where required
  • Monthly reconciliations between Ledger data and HR/Technology Development Financial data to ensure alignment
  • Support in the annual audit for any cost related queries
  • Prepping expenses report
  • Pulling together market data steer co pack and attending meetings
  • Support with onshore invoice tasks
  • Collaborate as a team in the UK, US and Pune
  • Assist cost team with additional adhoc tasks and monitoring of Cost and Invoicing mailbox
  • Deal with frequent requests for additional analysis to be presented to senior stakeholders

Experience Required

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA or ACCA) with 0-2 years experience in Finance (costs and revenue)
  • Strong academic background
  • Strong numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Previous experience using Anaplan or similar tools
  • Proactive, enthusiastic and keen to learn
  • Analytical and questioning mindset
  • Self-motivated and organised
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Team player
