H&P is working with an established Private Equity Firm focusing on Technology Buyout across Europe and looking for an Associate to join its growing London Team.

Role Overview:

Source and identify potential investment opportunities.
Conduct thorough due diligence, including financial analysis, market research, and risk assessment, for prospective deals.
Assist in executing investments, including negotiations, term sheet structuring, and deal-closing processes.
Support portfolio companies post-investment with strategic advice, operational assistance, and growth initiatives.
Prepare investment memos and present opportunities to senior leadership while providing regular updates on portfolio performance.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree with a strong academic record.
Strictly 2-4 years of experience in mid market investment banking or general private equity (excluding internships).
Background in Tech M&A, preferable at a Boutique Bank.
Exposure to Energy Transition transactions is a plus.
Self-motivated, with a strong entrepreneurial mindset and ability to work independently.
Strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
Proficiency in German or Dutch, native or bilingual.
