Role and Responsibilities

We are looking for experienced Electricians to be part of a growing division within a nationwide company. Working within a commercial and industrial environment, you will form a critical part of projects, supporting the electrical team. You will meet company standards and industry specifications while providing a 5-star customer service experience.

Electrical Duties:

  • Surveying sites with installed electrical systems
  • Ensuring that electrical systems adhere to national electrical safety standards and regulations
  • Completing work orders and recording materials used on the job
  • Identifying and repairing electrical issues
  • Installing, maintaining, modifying, and repairing electrical systems in public spaces and buildings
  • Advising management on replacing aged electrical equipment to prevent hazards
  • Conducting general electrical system maintenance and troubleshooting using testing equipment

The above list of duties is non-exhaustive, and additional duties may be requested by your line manager.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Qualified to C&G 2367 or 2357 (Electrical Installation) and NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installations or equivalent
  • At least three years' experience working as an electrician
  • Qualified to C&G 2391 - Electrical inspection and testing
  • IT Literate
  • Strong active listening skills
  • Effective decision-making abilities
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills
