Role and Responsibilities
We are looking for experienced Electricians to be part of a growing division within a nationwide company. Working within a commercial and industrial environment, you will form a critical part of projects, supporting the electrical team. You will meet company standards and industry specifications while providing a 5-star customer service experience.
Electrical Duties:
- Surveying sites with installed electrical systems
- Ensuring that electrical systems adhere to national electrical safety standards and regulations
- Completing work orders and recording materials used on the job
- Identifying and repairing electrical issues
- Installing, maintaining, modifying, and repairing electrical systems in public spaces and buildings
- Advising management on replacing aged electrical equipment to prevent hazards
- Conducting general electrical system maintenance and troubleshooting using testing equipment
The above list of duties is non-exhaustive, and additional duties may be requested by your line manager.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Qualified to C&G 2367 or 2357 (Electrical Installation) and NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installations or equivalent
- At least three years' experience working as an electrician
- Qualified to C&G 2391 - Electrical inspection and testing
- IT Literate
- Strong active listening skills
- Effective decision-making abilities
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
