This Platform Development Ad Agency is looking for a Technical Director to join their fast-growing web design and development team where you will be leading on the technical strategy and development, delivering beautiful, cutting-edge web solutions for their clients.
Your role will involve:
- Technical direction
- Pitching & technical planning
- Team management
- Mentoring & coaching
Experience needed:
- Experience of leading and developing technical teams within an agency environment
- Strong communicator, able to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders
- Experience in modern frontend development, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript and component-based frameworks such as React or Next.js
- Knowledge of PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, WordPress (including Gutenberg blocks), headless CMS platforms such as Sanity is highly desirable
- Familiarity with current CRM, Analytics and cookie tools
- Experience of nurturing clients and growing customer accounts
- A portfolio of wider development experience is advantageous, such as application development, API integrations, or creative technology projects
