Your new company is a diverse business operating a portfolio of differing businesses from a beautiful location in North Yorkshire.
Your new role includes:
- Preparation of monthly management accounts
- Balance Sheet reconciliation and reviews
- Cost analysis for department managers
- Weekly cash forecasts
- Preparation of quarterly VAT returns
- Maintain stock records
- Prepare and maintain Fixed Asset Registers
- Process payroll for seasonal staff (payroll training will be given if necessary)
- Assist with preparation of budgets and forecasting
- Preparation of year-end accounts
- Office for National Statistics returns
- Foreign VAT returns and sales
- Ad hoc responsibilities - such as some sales and purchase ledger duties
What you’ll need to succeed:
- Ideally, AAT or part-Qualified CIMA/ACCA or QBE
- Experience of production of management accounts (essential)
- Advanced Excel
- Knowledge of Sage 50 accounts and payroll
- VAT knowledge, UK and Foreign
- Import/Export Experience
