A rare opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Pastry Chef to join our Executive Pastry Chef to help lead the Pastry & Afternoon Tea Team.
A little more about what you will be doing:
- To ensure the smooth running of the Pastry Department, ensuring that all areas are maintained to Fairmont St Andrews standards.
- Together with the Executive Pastry Chef to supervise and coordinate the training of other pastry staff.
- To be able to motivate staff.
- To cook any food on a daily basis according to business requirements.
- To write and check standard recipes for all dishes to ensure proper portion control, uniformity of taste and quality for approval of the Executive Chef.
Qualifications:
- Experience in a similar role is a must and experience in a five-star hotel would be preferential.
- Must be eligible to live and work in the UK.
