We are currently recruiting Class 1 HGV Drivers for a temp-to-perm opportunity based in Stafford. This role offers steady, long-term work with clear progression for the right candidates.

Role Details of Class 1 HGV Driver:

  • Temp to Perm position
  • Depot-to-depot work - no multi-drop
  • Shift patterns available:
  • 5 on / 3 off
  • 4 on / 4 off
  • Start window: Between 12:00pm (noon) and 11:59pm (3-hour start window)
  • Pay Rates of Class 1 HGV Driver:

    • £15.00 per hour (Day shifts)
    • £16.00 per hour (Night shifts)
    • Higher rates on weekends and bank holidays

    Candidate Requirements of Class 1 HGV Driver:

    • Valid Class 1 (C+E) license
    • Minimum 2 years experience as a Class 1 HGV Driver
    • Valid CPC and Tacho cards
    • Maximum of 6 penalty points (No DD, DR, or IN endorsements)

    This role may involve 1 or 2 nights out a week - this is not always the case but we have been asked to make all applicants aware this company does have night out expectations.

    • Carry out daily vehicle safety checks
