We are partnered with a graphics Company that are looking for someone to join them in their Hampshire based site to lead the Planning and Installation activities for the printed material produced onsite.

The role will manage the transportation, storage, distribution and installation activities to ensure that products arrive at their destinations on time and fitted to the required standard. The Head of Planning and Installation is to organise and coordinate the movement of goods to customers and the installation team, keeping track of inventory levels, delivery schedules, and shipping costs. They need to have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as they collaborate with suppliers, customers, and transportation providers to resolve any issues that may arise.

Key Duties:
  • Ensures all planned work complies with Health and Safety policies.
  • Communicating with vendors to assess delivery details.
  • Coordinating and planning the movement of goods, including scheduling deliveries and pickups.
  • To ensure Method Statements and Risk Assessments are available for all jobs.
  • Contact Site Managers (or Site Contacts) to confirm and schedule installations and send all relevant documents (including risk assessments and method statements) a minimum of 48 hours prior to install.
  • Liaise with Production and Dispatch departments to ensure jobs are completed in time and are dispatched/arrive on time.
  • Oversee the despatch of goods for installation, and that they are dispatched in advance, in the most efficient way.
  • Ensure all instructions are provided and noted prior to installs.
  • Maintaining a database of all inventory items to track their locations.
  • Ensure that all orders are planned in the most efficient and cost-effective manner whilst always meeting customer requirements.
Essential Experience:
  • Logistics management planning experience.
