We are recruiting an experienced Lettings Property Manager for our busy and successful Lettings and Estate Agency client based in Atherstone. A leading, multi-branch independent agent who have been established for several decades in the area, they provide a traditional Lettings and Estate Agency service coupled with the most up-to-date technology.
As a Lettings Property Manager you will have responsibility for managing a portfolio of properties to include:
- Organising safety certificates
- Dealing with day-to-day maintenance as well as overseeing bigger works
- Property inspections
- Preparing properties for move-in
- Handling tenants vacating the property
- Dealing with deposit returns
THE ROLE IS PART TIME 20 HOURS PER WEEK. Prior experience in the property industry is a must, preferably 12 months or more so the position would be ideal for a property manager that is looking to progress and take on some broader responsibilities. Candidate must hold a clean UK driving licence.
Main Duties for the Property Manager role:
- Managing a portfolio of properties
- Communicate with Landlords / Tenants / Contractors regarding property maintenance works, required actions to be undertaken resolving accordingly
- Arranging and carrying out property inspections and reporting back to Landlords with feedback
- Ensure all legal compliances are up to date
- Renewal arrangements for rent recovery policies and tenancy agreements
- Liaise with tenant and landlord following the end of tenancy
- Communicating with utility companies and council at start and end of tenancy
- Resolving Landlord and Tenant enquiries
