Lightspeed is looking for a Team Lead to join our growing Direct Sales EMEA team. In this role, you will support the Manager of Direct Sales in growing the London hospitality vertical for Lightspeed. You will be a key support for the team, helping them exceed their objectives through continuous training and coaching. Lightspeed’s Direct Sales team is now in hyper-growth mode. Our process has been refined and optimized on a smaller scale over the last period; now is the time to expand our team and our reach.
What you’ll be doing:
- Supporting the Manager in mentoring and motivating the team
- Providing guidance, training and coaching to team members
- Assisting in analyzing, reporting and taking action on pipeline metrics
- Helping develop Inbound initiatives to maximize team performance
- Collaborating internally in order to maximise working relationships with partnerships, outbound, implementation and the marketing teams
- Supporting the Manager in driving performance to consistently meet monthly, quarterly, and annual goals
What you bring to the team:
- Experience coaching or leading a team
- Sales experience in a B2B environment, preferably in a fintech or solution-sales / technology-related environment
- Strong understanding of sales best practices
- Proven closing skills
- Demonstrated ability to meet and/or exceed sales targets
- A quantitative approach to decision-making and a love of numbers
- A passion for coaching and helping team members evolve in their sales careers
- Ability to thrive in a competitive, dynamic, and quota-driven environment
- An entrepreneurial and agile mindset, with a bias toward action and the ability to pivot when needed to meet business needs and objectives
Even better if you have, but not necessarily:
- Experience working in the hospitality industry
- Experience with POS systems
