You will be working alongside experienced colleagues, suppliers, and customers to help drive long-term business success. As a Graduate Procurement Executive, you will play a key role in supporting the procurement team’s day-to-day operations while developing your commercial and strategic skills in a hands-on environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the procurement team in building and maintaining strong, transparent relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Assist with pricing, product availability, quality control, and cost management
- Help coordinate international sourcing activities across multiple product categories
- Take part in supplier performance tracking, reviews, and occasional site visits
- Contribute to continuous improvement projects and procurement best practices
- Work closely with senior team members on strategic procurement initiatives
Key Requirements
- A recent graduate with a degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, or a related field
- Previous experience, including a placement year in Fresh Food, FMCG, or Fresh Produce sectors, in a procurement, buying, or supply chain environment
- A genuine interest in procurement, Fresh Produce, Food, or fast-paced commercial environments
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Proactive, organised, and eager to learn and grow in a dynamic team setting
- Strong analytical skills and a good understanding of Excel
