GIANT FREIGHT are seeking a reliable and dedicated self-employed Courier Driver to join our team. No van required, experience preferred but a hard working attitude is essential. NO VAN REQUIRED ONGOING WORK (NOT JUST FOR PEAK) MONDAY TO FRIDAY (WEEKEND OVERTIME AVAILABLE) 7.30AM START 7 DAY PAYMENT TERMS (£200+ day rate in own van – MWB minimum LWB preferred) TRAINING PROVIDED Duties * Operate delivery vehicles, including vans, in a safe and responsible manner. * Load and unload goods, ensuring that items are secured properly for transport. * Navigate routes effectively to meet delivery schedules while adhering to traffic regulations. * Communicate with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery status and any potential issues. * Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including times, locations, and any discrepancies. * Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs promptly. * Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including inventory management and organisation of goods.
