Risk Actuary

We have partnered with a leading commercial insurer to find them a Risk Actuary to join their growing team. This position sits within the Risk Capital Team and involves providing technical advice and support for quantitative risk and capital assessment, leading risk reviews across various business areas, and overseeing internal model parameterization. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to: Risk oversight of both reserving and pricing Undertaking validation exercises for risk types and supporting model change applications Working with the regulator to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and input into market wide exercises Supporting the development of the Risk Capital Team The role is ideal for a Qualified Actuary with either pricing or reserving background seeking to transition into a Risk position and enhance their expertise in risk and capital management.
