Our client who produces Vision Inspection Systems is currently recruiting for a Junior Applications Engineer in their St Albans office. As a Applications Engineer, you will be required to provide support to internal staff and customers and support on-site installation and commissioning.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide technical support to internal staff and customers, including joint sales visits
- Conduct product trials and application evaluations for new enquiries
- Develop vision system applications and configure barcode systems
- Support on-site installation, commissioning, and customer technical support
- Contribute technical input to sales quotations and attend supplier training
- Degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Programming, or related field, or equivalent experience
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Camera vision applications experience (preferred but not essential)
- PC programming skills (C#, .NET, JavaScript) (preferred but not essential)
- PLC programming or relevant industry experience (preferred but not essential)
- Competitive salary based on experience
- 23 days holiday, increasing to 28
