We are currently seeking an experienced QHSE Manager to join our client’s team in an extremely vibrant and busy business in the defence and electronics sector. As a QHSE Manager, you will be responsible for all quality, safety and compliance aspects of business activities. Covering both areas (Quality and H&S), you’ll need to be able to demonstrate a successful track record of stakeholder engagement and successful implementation of new business systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Quality
- Develop, implement, review and oversee existing QHSE management systems.
- Focus on auditing, monitoring, and reviewing procedures.
- Work closely with Manufacturing and Engineering functions.
- Lead both internal and external audits.
- Liaising with relevant stakeholders to ensure business compliance.
- Addressing investigation findings with appropriate corrective actions.
- Maintaining and achieving ISO accreditations.
- Liaise with relevant enforcement agencies.
- Ensure safety and security in the workplace.
- Manage and perform risk assessments.
- Generalist Health and Safety coverage across the company.
- Identify and assess training needs.
- Grow the business exposure and compliance around environmental considerations.
Skills and Experience:
- Technical background, who has a proven track record of success in senior QHSE.
- Agile working habits with excellent communication skills.
- Experience of maintaining an ISO 9001 accreditation is essential.
- Experience of implementing a DMS and QMS.
