Working for this friendly, fast-paced fashion supplier based in Central London, we are looking for an experienced Fabric Technologist to join our team — someone who knows their way around fabric testing, compliance, and sustainability, and who’s confident presenting to clients and building strong relationships with retail teams.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for overseeing all fabric development and testing, from shrinkage and flammability to colour fastness and customer-specific standards. You’ll work directly with mills, factories, and garment techs to troubleshoot quality or performance issues, and you’ll be a trusted point of contact for our retail partners — guiding them through fabric choices, testing requirements, and certification needs with confidence and clarity.

You’ll review test reports, manage all certification documentation, and ensure every fabric we use meets legal and brand-specific standards including REACH, OEKO-TEX, GOTS, and more. Sustainability and ethical sourcing are also key to this role, so experience with frameworks like GRS, BCI, and ZDHC will be a big plus. You’ll also support compliance audits across the supply chain and help factories maintain strong chemical management practices.

You’ll need to be technically confident, commercially aware, and a strong communicator who’s as comfortable discussing RSLs with buyers as you are decoding a lab report.

In return, you’ll join a genuinely lovely team that values what you bring. You’ll be working from our Central London office five days a week, collaborating closely with designers, account managers, and customers — and playing a key role in delivering beautiful, compliant, and responsible product to the high street.

If this sounds like your kind of role, we’d love to hear from you. Send over your CV and a short note introducing yourself.
