We are looking for a dedicated and detail-focused Finance Assistant to join our client's team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with numbers, managing financial data, and supporting daily office operations. You will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial records and a well-organised office environment, working closely with the Financial Controller.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Purchase Ledger
  • Sales Ledger
  • Credit Control
  • Nominal Ledger
  • Assist in the preparation of the annual financial audit
  • Organise and maintain accountancy paperwork and filing systems
  • Provide general administrative support as required

Qualifications and Competencies:

  • Strong numerical skills and attention to detail
  • PC literate (particularly with Word and Excel)
  • Willingness to learn new skills - training will be provided
  • Familiarity with any finance systems, Sage preferred but not essential
  • Previous office or finance-related experience
