Location: Glasgow city centre, hybrid

Type: Permanent

Hours: Full Time 36 hours per week, Monday – Thursday 8.30 – 16.00 & Friday 9.00 – 3pm

Salary: £25,121.49 + 6% employer’s pension + enhanced maternity pay + 1 hour paid lunch + overtime opportunities

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and driven candidate to join a rapidly growing finance organisation and build their career. Our client is a not-for-profit financial institution, whose goal is to give back to people with a common bond. Established for over 30 years, they are still growing and are now looking for a new Loans Officer.

They’re looking for a confident individual with good interpersonal skills and IT skills to join the loans team as a part time loans officer. There are excellent progression opportunities here as the organisation has clear progression paths across multiple departments fuelled by their rapid growth.

The ideal candidate would be someone with office-based customer service experience who is looking to specialise and get a foot in the door within the finance industry.

  • Managing customer email enquiries
  • Speaking with customers via telephone
  • Handling loan enquiries
  • Underwriting loans
  • Independently managing own workload

Essential:

  • Customer service experience (min 1 year)
  • Good written & verbal communication skills
  • IT literate
