Search are recruiting for a Temporary Finance Assistant to join our client\’s Edinburgh office for up to 3 months. Within the role, you will ensure the accurate and timely processing of financial transactions and support with various finance-related tasks.

If you have experience within Transactional Finance and are interested in a temporary role, you would be encouraged to apply.

Hours and pay:
This role offers a 34.5 hour working week and an hourly rate of circa £13.50-£14.50.

Your key responsibilities will include:
* Accurately posting purchase ledger transactions.
* Regularly reconciling supplier accounts.
* Processing payment batches for both purchase ledger and accounts receivable.
* Assisting with banking processes.
* Handling rent accounting, care home income, and other sales ledger transactions.

Key skills and experience you\’ll ideally have:
* Experience in financial transaction processing.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
* Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
* Good communication and organisational skills.
