M2 Partnership has been instructed by one of the UK’s Top 5 Landlords to recruit for a Client-Side Building Surveyor to manage their London property portfolio. The Company Our client has a property portfolio of over 5000 properties. They include commercial offices, high-end residential properties, several restaurants, Heritage buildings, and some industrial units ranging over 100,000 sq. ft. The Role The building surveyor will be given a fantastic opportunity to work across all areas of Building Surveying working on a diverse range of different projects and properties. The successful candidate will be expected to develop and maintain consistent communication and collaboration between Asset and Property Management colleagues to maximise commercial portfolio performance and minimise risk. Day-to-day duties will include Design, procure and directly project manage multiple work schemes, supported by specialists and cost managers as required. Keeping stakeholders informed on progress, managing through to completion and hand-back, safely within the planned programme and budget parameters. You can expect to undertake multiple asset condition inspections and produce site-specific maintenance, renewal and enhancement proposals while also providing timely, clear and professional technical advice relating to asset failure, tenant alterations, party wall, dilapidations, maintenance and re-letting works.
