You\’ll design and deliver 1:1 and small group sessions, provide GCSE support, and make a lasting difference in pupils confidence and academic progress.

Intervention Tutor | Job Summary:

• Intervention Tutor English and Maths | Secondary School in Hull
• £444 per week (inclusive of holiday pay)
• Gain school-based experience ahead of a potential Teacher Training pathway
• Support pupils aged 1116 in English and Maths across KS3 and KS4

Intervention Tutor | Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging 1:1 and small group interventions in English and Maths
• Work with students across Key Stage 3 and 4, including GCSE preparation
• Provide in-class support alongside teachers as required
• Support SEND and disadvantaged students with tailored academic help
• Track and report progress to teaching staff and intervention leads

Intervention Tutor | Requirements:

• Minimum 2:1 degree, ideally in English, Maths or a closely related subject
• Excellent academic track record, particularly in English and Maths across GCSE and/or A-Level
• Enthusiastic about education and committed to helping students succeed
• Clear, confident communicator with a supportive and proactive mindset
• Previous experience with children or young people is desirable but not essential
