OLG Recruitment are currently looking for a Project Quantity Surveyor for our client located in Immingham. This is a full-time contract position for 24 months.

As a project QS you will be responsible for:

  • Providing contract administration, financial measurement, valuation and certification to construction contracts of major projects.
  • Liaison with construction and procurement groups in the preparation, award and management of construction/fabrication contracts.
  • Developing and amending Schedule of Rates basis to apply to discipline construction contracts.
  • Developing and implementing processes to measure, value and certify construction works performed.
  • Coordinating with 3rd Party Contractors to resolve cost management issues.
  • Supporting project and construction disciplines to negotiate and resolve contract claims and variations.
  • Providing advice and guidance on optimal compensation/measurement methods.
  • Input to cost monitoring and forecasting of construction projects.
  • Managing site instructions and variation orders.
  • Through effective contract control, having an impact on a significant element of the refinery capital budget.

Experience in Civils and Piping QS measure required.

  • Quantity Survey (QS) trained and certificated.
  • Contract knowledge and expertise.
