ReCon Advisory Partners are looking for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor/Quantity Surveyor based in and around the Manchester area on behalf of a civil engineering contractor. The company are looking for an individual who can play a vital part within their business having many responsibilities to ensure the business becomes even more successful. The client is in search for an individual who has experience working on a variety of projects although civil engineering projects is essential. There is a number of projects the client have done in the past including fast food chain restaurants, schools, warehouses, residential developments and many more therefore if you have experience of any of this then it will be highly advantageous. Key Responsibilities; Contacting potential clients by telephone or meeting face to face to discuss their requirements, offer advice and provide them with an estimate of the likely costs. To provide technical knowledge and input into the process of quoting, site surveys and design. Liaising with managers and key decision makers within the business. Build and maintain relationships with new and existing clients. Stay updated on industry trends, material costs, and labour rates to ensure estimates reflect current market conditions.
