Roles & Responsibilities

  • Planning digital content strategy for presentation to Head of Visual Identity for each exhibition, art fair, and event on a quarterly basis.
  • Design and create digital presentations, catalogues, email campaigns, marketing and advertising materials.
  • Plan and create content for Gallery Instagram, Facebook, Vimeo, Google Business etc.
  • Manage photography shoots under direction of Head of Visual Identity, both in-house & with external professional photographers.
  • Process images for print and digital use: file and label all content.
  • Plan, create and direct film content under advisement: both in-house & with external professional videographers.
  • Manage the film editing feedback process between the filmmaker and the team.
  • Manage Facebook (+Instagram) adverts through the business manager portal.
  • Communicate with external stationers for the design and printing of office stationery.
  • Oversee and manage website design and implementation of improvements on the ArtLogic platform.
  • Manage content: images, exhibitions, news, sold works archive etc.
  • Stay in touch with artists to keep images and content up to date.
  • Populate the archive with content from the old site.
  • Manage, plan, and design Mailchimp campaigns.
  • Manage and interpret analytics; Google, Mailchimp, Issuu, Squarespace, Instagram.
  • Work with external PR agency to manage digital campaigns and activities.
  • Handle external press enquiries.
  • Handle the supply of images and other materials.
  • Arrange interviews with artists and Adrian.
  • Create press image and caption files for each fair and exhibition.
  • Proof-read and fact-check press releases and other materials internally and externally for institutions and agencies.
  • Follow image copyright guidelines and obtain permissions where needed.
  • Work closely with external press agencies when relevant.
  • Manage the storage and filing of print and digital press content.

Person Specification

  • Experience in Digital Marketing.
  • Dynamic and creative approach.
  • Self-directed, proactive with the ability to define and execute projects independently.
  • Proven understanding and vision of brand voice, particularly in social media.
  • Highly organised with a fine eye for detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Analytical, organisational and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience of photography.
  • Excellent IT skills, including a good working knowledge of Adobe packages (InDesign, Photoshop, Premier).
  • Good working knowledge of Mac OSX and CMS systems.
  • Awareness of recent developments in website technology, mobile applications and social media.
  • Ability to work in a small team with a flexible mind-set.
  • Previous experience of ArtLogic and Filemaker desirable.
  • Basic understanding of intellectual property law desirable.
