A high-growth company in the global travel and experiences sector is seeking a dynamic and operationally driven COO to help scale its business further across multiple international markets. The Role
This is a highly strategic and hands-on operational role. You’ll be responsible for improving efficiency across regions, leading senior managers, and integrating new acquisitions. The position will have full ownership of the business operations and future expansion, whilst acting as no.2 to the Founders.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily operations across multiple global regions
- Act as no.2 to the Founders
- Manage and mentor a team of senior regional managers
- Streamline systems and processes to support growth
- Oversee and integrate acquisitions
- Support succession planning
- Collaborate across departments including sales, finance, and product
- Serve as the go-to decision-maker for company-wide operations
Requirements:
- Experience in a senior operational role within the travel, tours, or experiences sector
- Proven ability to operate in a fast-moving, hands-on business
- Background in M&A and business integration
- Strong leadership and decision-making skills
- Previous experience as Operations Director or Managing Director
- Ability to travel globally on a regular basis
