Our client is recruiting a Networks Marketing Manager who will be tasked with overall management and promotions activity for the newly launched Networks Division. The successful candidate will liaise with a number of internal contacts and external agencies to co-ordinate marketing activity for new company launches. You will highlight new vendor partnerships in overseas territories and be given the overall responsibility for the delivery of marketing and promotions activity related to the Networks Division. In the role, you will be responsible for the generation of a marketing plan/strategy for all new overseas launches.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Marketing department on strategic initiatives including segmentation strategies, promotional strategies, hind-sighting and planning of future offline/online marketing programs, customer acquisition, and retention strategies.
  • Liaising with the Marketing department to ensure consistency of message/tone and integrating international activity into the overall Marketing strategy/schedule.
  • Conduct market research into overseas advertising methodologies and platforms.
  • Identify key marketing opportunities relating to overseas activities using a variety of media (print, TV, radio, online, billboard, social media, etc.).
  • Measure and analyse the performance of all marketing activities with a view to continuously improving future output.
  • Liaise with internal departments (e.g., Sales/Contact Centre) to provide training/insight into “the message” regarding overseas options for our clients and how best to promote these (in line with any currently active promotions).
  • Conduct “on the ground” marketing in overseas territories to support the launch of a new vendor/service in that city.
  • Liaise with local marketing agencies/consultancies in each particular territory.
  • Perform marketing costings and ROI (return on investment) analysis.

Key Skills/Experience Needed:

  • A successful track record of marketing a service/product to both B2B and B2C customers.
  • Experience of marketing in non-UK countries across a variety of mediums/platforms.
  • Experience of working in a stand-alone position with ultimate responsibility for that function/role within the department.
  • Budgetary control.
  • Adept with modern marketing methodologies, including SEO and Social Media, as well as more traditional avenues such as print or large-scale physical advertising (e.g., billboards).
