As a PR & Trade Account Executive, you will be in an integrated role, providing administrative support and assistance to both the Trade and PR account teams, establishing media and trade relationships and promoting the public image of the designated clients and the Company. This role is currently dedicated full time to one client but may change.
Core Duties and Responsibilities:- Manage and provide support on day-to-day administrative tasks.
- Write and proof interesting and creative copy for press releases and bespoke pitches.
- Build mailing lists for press releases and manage distribution via Roxhill.
- Build and maintain target media and trade lists for client activities.
- Handle incoming trade and press enquiries (via email, telephone).
- Build and maintain excellent relationships with clients, colleagues and relevant media, trade and industry contacts.
- Assist with the organisation of and attend trade shows, press/trade trips and media/trade meetings etc.
- Assist with the preparation of client(s) presentations.
- Monitor press cuttings to keep abreast of all relevant client news and capture or flag coverage results and negative press.
- Monitor social media channels for industry updates, journalist requests and influencer activities.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of the client(s) business objectives, strategies, and requirements.
- Conduct research projects using the internet, internal and external databases, or the telephone.
- Effective day to day use of Microsoft office, database software and company systems.
- Maintain and develop effective filing systems for client content and imagery.
- Preferably 6-12 months experience in PR, trade or in a similar administrative role.
- Previous knowledge or experience in the travel industry would be beneficial.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to build strong relationships.
- Organised, with the ability to work to strict deadlines and capable of managing and prioritising workload.
- Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexible approach and a can-do attitude essential.
- Team player willing to work towards achieving collective goals.
- Analytical and methodical approach.
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook.
