We are looking for an experienced and strategic Head of Community & Events to build, grow, and engage vibrant communities. In this role, you will be responsible for deepening audience relationships, driving engagement, and producing live and virtual events that bring communities together. You’ll work closely with creators and internal teams to design experiences that foster loyalty, collaboration, and growth.
What You’ll Do:
- Develop and execute community strategies that align with brand and business objectives.
- Manage online communities across platforms like Discord, Slack, Circle, Facebook Groups, and others.
- Plan, produce, and manage live events (IRL and virtual), including launches, meetups, workshops, and podcast tapings.
- Build community programs that increase member retention, advocacy, and engagement.
- Serve as the voice of the community internally, bringing insights and feedback to guide content, product, and marketing decisions.
- Collaborate with marketing, content, and product teams to integrate community initiatives across channels.
- Measure community health, event performance, and member engagement, and report on KPIs regularly.
What We’re Looking For:
- 4-6 years of experience in community management, event production, or related fields.
- Strong background in building and scaling engaged online communities.
- Hands-on experience planning and executing events from concept through post-production.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and project management skills.
- A deep understanding of creator-led businesses, and how to translate a creator’s brand into community experiences.
- Highly organized, resourceful, and comfortable working across multiple projects at once.
